I have a friend that has a pen that was given by his father. The fountain pen tip reads "The richelieu pen" (or pichelieu). It is retractable and it also has a retractable pencil. Both pen and pencil come out in the same end. The top of the pen has a "gem" (looks fake). Anyone has information on what this pen might be. I found and image where the pen comes out, the picture describes victorian writing instrument. Thanks, he really wants to find out about the history of this pen.

I have two paintings by Cesar Buenaventura dated 1952. One depicts a woman in native garb from the shoulder up, and the other a man in native garb from the shoulder up. They are painted on canvas board and are framed in very crude wooden frames that appear to be from the period.

Should refer to experts before purchasing Ibrahim's works especially on internet. Fakes keep coming to the market, day by day.

Even big galleries were fooled by these fakers. Old fakes which were made during the late 60's or early 70's were more confusing.
